Joseph Brown, the 63-year-old Gainesville man charged with getting into a woman’s car at a Cumming Walmart recently while wielding a knife, is facing an additional charge.
As 97.5 Glory FM reported April 4, Brown was arrested shortly after the incident by Forsyth County sheriff’s deputies and charged with aggravated assault. He has now also been charged with entering an automobile with intent to commit a felony.
The woman’s one-year-old son was in the car at the time but was not injured.
A store employee who was putting the woman’s purchases into her car saw what was happening and intervened and Brown fled.
