They were filed against Travis Browner this week after Oakwood Police were contacted by a Gainesville Police detective who had information that Brittney Bridges was staying at the Jameson Inn and had active warrants on her.
“Oakwood officers went to the location and located Bridges,” Oakwood Police Lt. Ted Ivy said. “Bridges was detained at that point.”
Lt. Ivy said Browner was also in the room with her and that Bridges consented to having the room searched.
“Officers located illegal narcotics in the room at that time (and) Oakwood detectives began an investigation (and) based on their findings” new charges were filed against Browner, who was already facing a possession of methamphetamine charge.
