Oakwood Police are investigating a burglary that occurred early Thursday at the Dollar Tree near the entrance to Royal Lake.
“…we are working a Burglary where violator(s) broke the front glass out of the door and made entry,” Chief Tim Hatch wrote in an email Thursday morning. “Apparently, the subject(s) went directly to the office to attempt to locate cash and then left the scene.”
Regarding any leads, Hatch added “I am told that the suspect(s) parked in the rear of the building and we do have some video of their vehicle but I am not sure of a vehicle description at this time.”
Investigator S. Webb says it occurred about 3:30 Thursday morning and was found by store employees when they showed up to work around 6:30.
