The driver of a pickup that overturned on Browns Bridge Road at Keith Bridge Road Sunday night was not injured but the road was closed for more than an hour.
HALL CO. SHERIFF’S OFFICE NARRATIVE;
“Hall County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) deputies responded to the scene of a single-vehicle crash on Browns Bridge Road near the intersection of Keith Bridge Road around 10:50 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 18.
When they arrived, they found an overturned pickup truck in the roadway. The driver had been assisted from the wrecked truck by passersby. He said he was not injured and refused medical treatment.
The preliminary investigation indicates the driver was traveling westbound on Browns Bridge Road when he traveled off the ride side of the road. The driver overcorrected as he tried to bring the truck back onto the roadway, traveled into the oncoming lane and flipped the vehicle. No other vehicles were involved in the crash.
The driver, identified as Jose Miguel Sanchez-Ocampo, 22, of Gainesville, was cited for failure to maintain lane and driving without a license.
Cleanup of the wreckage took just over an hour. The roadway was reopened for travel at 12:05 a.m. Monday, Feb. 19.”
