A 23-year-old woman was arrested early Sunday morning by Hall County sheriff’s deputies and charged with, among other things, Fleeing/Attempting to Elude. She’s also facing a couple of drug-related charges… Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession and Use of Drug-related Objects, and DUI-Drugs. Other charges include Reckless Driving; Speeding, Headlights and Other Lights Required; Changing Lanes/Slowing or Stopping/Signals Required/Turning; and Failure to Maintain Lane. The arrest was made on I-985 near Mile Marker 12.5. As of mid-morning Monday, she was still in jail. Bond has been set at $10,120.
More information on this case is not likely to be available until the HCSO administrative offices reopen Tuesday following the holiday weekend.
Reports on activity by the Oakwood, Gainesville and Flowery Branch police departments were not available Monday morning.
The state patrol, meanwhile, reports that as of 6:00 midnight Sunday traffic accidents over the holiday weekend had taken the lives of at least six people, none in northeast Georgia.
