The Gainesville-based Northeastern Judicial Circuit is warning of a scam aimed at people with relatives being held for the courts in DawsonandHall counties.
The scam involves a fake document titled “Day Reporting Center Participation Agreement,” falsely claiming to be an official court order and program agreement.
The alert warns of documents requesting payment or personal information and against sending money or any personal information.
