One of the two boat ramps at Burton Mill Park on Lake Lanier is closed due to the low level of the lake, according to Hall County Parks & Leisure Services.
Officials say it will remain closed until the level is deemed safe enough for its use. The park’s second boat ramp remained open as of Wednesday.
The Corps of Engineers says the level of the lake Wednesday afternoon was 1063, about seven feet below normal.
