A 33-year-old Gainesville woman, Dakkota Ann Parmellee, remained in the Hall County Jail Monday following her arrest recently on several charges of shoplifting at the Oakwood Walmart. And police say it was not “a first” for her.
“I have been working on multiple shoplifting incidents with this person dating back to August 13th where she had entered the Oakwood Walmart and was swapping UPC labels so that items would ring up for less than their actual value,’ Oakwood Police Det. Lt. Stewart Webb said Monday. “She was also hiding other products in bags and walking out of the store without paying for the merchandise.”
Parmellee is charged with theft by shoplifting (2 counts) and intent to defraud (2) along with drug and reckless conduct charges.
She was also recently arrested on similar charges by Lawrenceville Police.
