Hall County Schools will take In-District Transfer Request Applications for the 2027-2028 school yea Nov. 2-Dec. 18. To apply, parents and guardians must complete the Google Form application located on the district’s website, which will go live on the morning of November 2. Parents and guardians who reside in the district may request to have their child transferred to another public school within the district as long as there is available space. If approved, parents or guardians must provide transportation to and from the transfer school.
First, check your new address with the School Attendance Map to confirm that your address is within the Hall County School District. If your address is not, then you may still apply through the Out-of-District (Tuition) application process, opening on March 2.
Rising kindergarten students have a separate application process opening in March; they must first register at their zoned elementary school during kindergarten registration in March prior to applying for an In-District transfer request. If a transfer is approved, the registration information will be sent to the approved transfer school.
