It’s now been 29 years…

Nearly 30 years ago, the murder of a young Forsyth County boy shocked northeast Georgians – and the crime still remains unsolved. 11-year-old Levi Frady disappeared 29 years ago, on October 22, 1997.

His body was found the next day in the Dawson Forest Wildlife Management Area. The Dawson County Sheriff’s Office, the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office, and the GBI continue to seek leads to this day.

He was last seen riding his bicycle home along Little Mill Road in Forsyth County as he had done many times after playing with friends.

Anyone with information about his death or on the identity of the potential witnesses (pictured here: Unsolved Homicide: Levi Frady | Georgia Bureau of Investigation) is asked to contact the GBI regional office in Cleveland at 706-348-4866 or GBI Tip Line at 1-800-597-TIPS(8477).”

Georgia’s Levi’s Call, the state’s equivalent of Amber Alert for missing children who may be at risk of harm, is named for the slain youngster.
