*In addition to being the first day of early voting for next month’s elections, Tuesday is the day Hall County Government holds a public information open house 5:00-7:00 to gather public input on potential safety and traffic improvements at the Navajo Circle railroad crossing. It will be held at the Sandra Dunagan Deal Elementary School.
*Also Tuesday, the county is hosting another in a series of “community engagement” meetings as it seeks public input on an update to the county’s Comprehensive Plan. It will take place 6:00-8:00 at the county government center.
*And Valley Road between Crepe Myrtle Lane and Blue Ridge Drive will be closed to thru traffic from 6:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday. This, city officials say, will allow the Gainesville Department of Water Resources to complete road improvements.
