More power outages, rain and wind. That’s been the story in north Georgia since before daybreak today as the impact of the remnants of Hurricane Isaias continue moving through the area.
Locally, Jackson EMC’s latest report, issued at 8:30, showed more than 3,500 in Hall County without power. That compares to about 2,000 at 5:00 this morning. Systemwide, the electric co-op was showing 5,000 in the dark. (Check your supplier’s website to access its outage map to see the situation in your area.)
