A veteran of the Hall County Sheriff’s Office is the new police chief in Flowery Branch.
Kelley Edwards, who currently serves as a Captain with the sheriff’s office, will replace the retiring Christopher Hulsey, when he steps down Sept. 30.
Edwards brings nearly three decades of law enforcement experience with the sheriff’s office to his new job. He has served in a variety of operational, training, supervisory, and command positions. For the past six years, he has served as Captain of the Judicial Services Division and Special Teams.
