Four people suffered minor injuries in a three-vehicle collision Thursday night on Cagle Road. It happened shortly after 9:00 in the 3400 block, north of Ridge Drive.
According to the Hall County Sheriff’s Office, Osmel Rodriguez, 19, of Gainesville, was northbound on Cagle Road at a high rate of speed. He crossed the center line and hit a southbound trailer being towed by Austin Garner, 30, of Marietta. Rodriguez continued into the southbound lane and hit a car head-on. The car was being driven by Jenifer Rebollar, 23, of Gainesville.
Hall County Fire Rescue took all three drivers and Rodriguez’s passenger, Aileen Rodriguez, 14, of Gainesville, to Northeast Georgia Medical Center for evaluation. Investigators classified all the injuries as minor.
Rodriguez was cited for driving too fast for conditions and failure to maintain lane.
