Democrats in Wisconsin have filed suit to keep Republican state Senate candidate Michele Skinner off the ballot in a dispute that centers, in part, around Dawson County. The suit alleges she is not eligible to hold office.
The Wausau Daily Herald reports the litigation was prompted after the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reported on Skinner’s recent voting history in Wisconsin and Georgia, as well as questions about primary residence tax credits she and her husband, who own a lakeside home in Dawson County, have received in both states.
