Little change in Hall Co. drought situation; lake level down

A part of Hall County again this week is among the driest places in Georgia, according to the U.S. Drought Monitor (USDM). That’s the section northwest of the lake bordering White, Lumpkin and Dawson counties.

Overall, our corner of the state along with southeast and east-central Georgia, is among the driest in Georgia. See map at this site: Georgia | U.S. Drought Monitor

And the level of Lake Lanier is down another .14 of a foot to 1066.36.
