Commercial building permits kept pace with residential permits during July in Gainesville, according to the city’s building inspection deprtment.
Commercial permits totaled 65 for $9.5 million worth of work, including two new projects at 5.2 million. Residential permits numbered 76 for $10.5 million, twenty of them for new, single-family homes expected to cost of eight-point-two.
