The City of Gainesville has been collecting political signs left on right-of-way within the city limits and will discard them at the end of the week. It was announced in late May that this would be done. Now, the deadline for finishing the job and returning the signs to any interested candidates is at hand.
“If interested in retrieving your signs from the Code Enforcement Division before Friday, July 10, please reach out to Code Enforcement Manager Jeff Bull at 770-538-2437,” a Facebook posting says.
