Design for next Hopes for Hall Inclusive Playground released

Hopes for Hall has taken the wraps off the design for its next Inclusive Playground which will be located at Spout Springs Elementary School.

Designed for all children regardless of their ability, these playgrounds offer a chance for them to play, explore, and grow alongside their peers.

“We are incredibly grateful to the Hall County Board of Education for approving a $150,000 contribution toward this project and helping move this dream one step closer to reality,” Hopes for Hall says in a Facebook posting.

Here are a few of the inclusive features:

    •     Volo Aire Tower – A soaring three-story accessible tower with winding pathways that allow children to climb, explore, and experience the playground from a whole new perspective.

    •     We-Go-Round – A modern merry-go-round designed so wheelchair users and their friends can spin together without barriers.

    •     Rhapsody Outdoor Orchestra – Interactive drums and chimes that encourage creativity, sensory exploration, and inclusive play.

    •     Rollerslide – A unique sensory-rich sliding experience that provides fun and sensory feedback for children of varying abilities.

“While this approval is a major milestone, we still have $100,000 left to raise to bring this playground to life,” the posting continues.

Hopes For Hall already has four playgrounds completed and two more in the works, the one at Spout Springs and one at the Gainesville hospital.
