GAINESVILLE’S POLICE DEPARTMENT GPD) NEWS RELEASE:
“(Wednesday) around 4:15 PM, officers responded to a dispatched call in the area of 1600 Vinyard Way in reference to a deceased adult male in the woods near the Sycamore Ridge Apartments.
Unfortunately, juveniles were playing in the area and discovered the deceased male. It does appear to be a suicide by hanging.
