River Forks Park and Campground is closed, effective tomorrow, for the rest of the fall and winter seasons, according to Hall County Parks & Leisure Services.
That’s because new waterlines are scheduled to be installed throughout the property. “The closure is necessary to ensure public safety and provide contractors with access to work areas,” the announcement says. They are scheduled to reopen March 31.
One other note from the agency: Bolding Mill Campground is scheduled to undergo replacement of the main electrical service by Jackson EMC beginning Nov. 10.
