Former Flowery Branch city councilman Larry Milton Pritchett has died. Pritchett, 88, died June 11.
Pritchett was a veteran of the Air Force, where he worked in intelligence supporting Strategic Air Command operations.
Following his military service, he built a successful career in commercial insurance and later fulfilled his dream of owning his own insurance agency, accord to his obituary.
In addition to serving on the city council, Pritchett also served a term a Flowery Branch Mayor Pro-Tem.
A private family graveside service will be held in July at Georgia National Cemetery in Canton.
