North Georgians should get ready for the first freezing weather of the season, according to the National Weather Service (NWS).
Temperatures Tuesday night are expected to dip to around 30 in Gainesville, for instance, a 20-degree difference from Monday night. The same is true for Wednesday night before readings gradually move back into the 40s and 50s by the end of the week.
Elsewhere in northeast Georgia, lows in the mid-20s are predicted for places like Blairsville, Clayton, and Young Harris.
