*Forsyth County’s newly expanded water treatment plant on Antioch Road is now online. The work increased the peak water treatment capacity from 33 million gallons per day (MGD) to 40 MGD. A ribbon-cutting was held Friday.
*Earlier this week, Oakwood officials gathered with friends, family, and others of his to dedicate a portion of H.F. Reed Industrial Parkway Bridge in honor of Mayor Lamar Scroggs who and his 50 consecutive years of service as the city’s mayor.
