EARLIER STORY. POSTED MAY 18: A Forsyth County judge has 20 days to issue a ruling in a case involving GOP gubernatorial candidate Rick Jackson. Landscaper Facundo Ortega is fighting for benefits after he suffered an injury on Jackson’s Forsyth County estate. Court records show Jackson – who wants to crack down on illegal aliens – didn’t vet the work status properly for those on his own property. But Jackson’s attorney tells the AJC “The suggestion that Richard Jackson was up to something nefarious in this matter is completely inappropriate, improper and untrue.”
Jones has been attacking Jackson over the issue.
