The state patrol Saturday afternoon released reports on two traffic accidents that occurred in Hall County as July was coming to a close.
One was Thursday night shortly after 8:00 at the intersection of Mabry Road and Talmo Road.
Upon arrival the investigating Trooper determined a 1999 International Dump Truck driven by Mario Bolivar, 22, of Gainesville was traveling north on Mabery Road. But Bolivar failed to stop at the stop sign at the intersection.
Bolivar exited the roadway onto the east shoulder of Mabery Road and attempted to make a right turn onto Talmo Road. But he lost control of his vehicle, and it overturned coming to rest in the intersection. He was hauling a load of logs which spilled into the intersection.
Bolivar was issued a citation for failure to stop at a stop sign. There were no injuries and Talmo Road was shut down for about two hours.
The second accident occurred Friday night about 8:30 on Atlanta Highway.
The investigating trooper says a 2023 Dodge Ram 1500 driven by Michael Wayne Crowe (68), of Sugar Hill was traveling south on Atlanta Highway. A 2007 Toyota Camry driven by Trista Nicole King (45), of Flowery Branch was traveling north and failed to maintain its lane. The Camry traveled into southbound lane causing a head-on collision with the Ram.
All occupants sustained minor injuries but were not transported to the hospital.
King received a citation for failure to maintain lane.
