A contract has been awarded for a concrete rehabilitation project on I-85 in Banks County, aimed, the state Department of Transportation says, at “improving roadway conditions and enhancing safety for motorists.”
The $4.2 million project calls for nearly ten miles of concrete rehabilitation beginning at I-85/Georgia 403 and extending to north of Georgia 63. It will focus on restoring and extending the life of the existing concrete pavement,
The contract calls for completion of the work by March 31, 2027.
