*A 23-year-old woman has been charged with six counts of cruelty to children in the 1st degree and six counts of aggravated battery, according to Hall County Jail records. Amy Suzan Pittman was booked into the jail about 7:00 Friday night. As of mid-morning Saturday, she remained there without bond.
*Also being held without bond was Alan Castellanos, 18, according to the sheriff’s office. Castellanos is facing five counts of aggravated assault and one count of possession of a gun or knife during the commission of a crime. He was jailed Friday night about 9:45.
*Five counts of theft by shoplifting under $500 have been filed against Robin Pierce South, 63. Pierce, who was booked late Friday night, according to Hall County Jail records, was also being held without bond at last check.
More details on each of these cases are not likely to be available until Monday when local law enforcement administrative offices reopen following the weekend.
