A Gainesville man was arrested in Dunlap, Tenn., recently on drug charges.
On April 20, Dunlap Police responded to a residence regarding unwanted and intoxicated persons.
Once officers arrived, they made contact with three individuals inside a vehicle parked in the driveway. During the investigation, the officers found approximately one-and-a-half ounces of methamphetamine along with drug paraphernalia inside the vehicle.
Ronald Diorio, of Gainesville, was arrested on drug charges at the scene. Following a search of Diorio’s vehicle, police discovered an additional two ounces of suspected meth, digital scales, and plastic bags.
Diorio was charged with two counts of possession of a schedule 2 drug for resale and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.
