A McEver Road business was damaged extensively over the weekend when a pickup struck the front of the building.
HCSO NARRATIVE:
“Hall County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to the crash Saturday morning at A Plus Cleaners in the 6900 block of McEver.
According to a preliminary investigation, the driver, Kenny Martinez Ramirez, 18, of Atlanta, was attempting to park in front of the business when he mistook the accelerator for the brake and drove into and through the front of the building. The incident caused extensive damage inside the business, which was closed at the time, and to the 2013 Ram 1500 pickup. A dollar amount for the damage was not immediately available.
Deputies cited Martinez Ramirez for driving on a learner’s permit without a qualified licensed driver present.”
