FLOWERY BRANCH POLICE DEPT. NEWS RELEASE:
“Early Monday morning, officers with the
Flowery Branch Police Department responded to a shooting in the 5900
block of Lights Ferry Rd.
One teenager was struck in the shoulder by gunfire during the incident. The victim was
transported to the hospital and has since been treated and released.
Investigators responded to the scene immediately and are actively pursuing
leads. No suspects have been apprehended as of this release.
This investigation is active and ongoing. There are no suspected ongoing threats
to the general public at this time.
