A 38-year-old man has been charged with an early morning home invasion in Jackson County that occurred Saturday in the Hoschton-Braselton area.

Though few details about the incident have been released, the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office (JCSO) says Alfonso Vargas, hometown not disclosed, was arrested early Saturday as well.

He’s charged with kidnapping, home invasion, aggravated assault, simple battery and reckless conduct.

Vargas is also being held for Gwinnett County authorities on unspecified charges.
