While we got the expected rainy Saturday, the official rainfall for Gainesville wasn’t much: less that half-an-inch. That’s what was recorded at the airport. But the outlook for the next seven days shows some promise of more.
“Scattered showers are possible through tonight into tomorrow,” a Sunday morning advisory from the weather service says. “Total accumulations will be spotty, with ‘winners’ and ‘losers’. Do not expect this rainfall to make significant impacts to drought conditions.”
And we can expect temperatures to be more seasonal than they’ve been recently.
