Rome news website drucktoday.substsack.com reports that while the two plants are related, they are also different. The Cartersville facility is associated with Hyundai.
“The (Bartow site) has started hiring and continues to prepare for production, which is planned for the first half of this year,” a spokesman for SK told drucktoday. “. . . You can see some of the positions being recruited on the (Bartow site’s) LinkedIn page.”
And those comments were echoed by the executive director of the Cartersville-Bartow County Department of Economic Development, according to the Rome news outlet.
