Abuse of the elderly/disabled; Child sex charges; Theft, other charges; Aggravated assault involving a knife; $1,000 shoplifting case arrest

*A 29-year-old man is facing drug-related charges as well as possession of burglary tools, theft by deception, and theft by taking after being arrested early Friday afternoon, according to Hall County Jail records. He was being held without bond at mid-morning Sunday.

*A North Hall case of sexual exploitation of children was reported to the Hall County Sheriff’s Office late Friday morning. According to the report, the incident(s) occurred between Nov. 12 and Friday. There apparently have been no arrests.

*Also, from Friday and North Hall, a report of abuse of disabled adult/elderly. That report was taken about midnight and no arrest(s) reported.

*And from early Saturday and the West Hall area, an aggravated assault case reportedly involving knife. Again, no arrest(s) listed.

*Oakwood Police are reporting an arrest in a four-month-old shoplifting case. Paul Douglas Woodall, 24, Braselton, is being held in the Hall County Jail in lieu of bonds totaling $5,900. He was arrested Thursday in connection with an incident that occurred last October at the Walmart on Mundy Mill Road in which, according to the police report, miscellaneous items valued at $1,036 were taken. A 44-year-old Barrow County woman wanted in connection with the theft remained at large at last report.
