“The snow came our way a little later than the US National Weather Service Peachtree City Georgia anticipated, but it’s coming down now and making for some slick travel conditions.

The photos here are from Deputy Ritchie who is on patrol in the north end of Hall County. He says even though the main roads have been treated, he’s finding some slick spots. Plus, the snow is freezing to the windshield, which makes for some visibility issues. Again, if you can stay home, we ask that you do. The snow is expected to continue at least through early afternnon.

We also suggest following Hall County Emergency Management and US National Weather Service Peachtree City Georgia for more weather info.”

A spokeswoman for the county in her latest briefing at noon said there had been 17ย total roadway “incidents,” since the storm began early today and eight were still “in progress.” That includes accidents, disabled/stuck vehicles, trees across roads, etc.
