The Hall County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) investigated an argument that occurred just before 7:30 Thursday morning in the car rider line at Deal Elementary School.
According to the investigation, that included the School Resource Officer (SRO) Unit, two drivers, both adult women, became involved in a heated verbal exchange in the car rider line following an apparent road rage incident on White Sulphur Road. The investigation determined the argument was verbal in nature only. Both drivers stayed in their respective vehicles during the exchange.
The school was placed on lockdown as a precaution, but no students or staff were in danger during the incident.
No charges were filed in the incident.
