A 17-year-old is being held without bond in the Hall County Jail after being arrested on a shoplifting charge and allegedly using a minor in the thefts which totaled hundreds of dollars. And that’s not all the trouble she’s in.
Oriane Maria Moreno Castellanos is also charged with going into the jail’s booking area with drugs.
“Did allegedly shoplift miscellaneous items from Walmart in excess of $500, various clothing, household, craft supplies and jewelry, Gainesville Police spokesman Kevin Holbrook said. “Did have two THC vapes hidden about their person, crossed the guard line at the jail. Did encourage a minor to commit the delinquent act of felony shoplifting.”
An immigration “hold” has also been placed on Castellanos, according to jail records.
