‘Tis the season! Santa has his naughty list and so does the White County Sheriff’s Office (WCSO).
Starting December 1, sheriff’s deputies and investigators kicked off Operation Naughty List, targeting suspects with outstanding warrants and drug suspects. During the operation, various arrests and drug seizures were made, Sheriff Rick Kelley said Tuesday.
The operation concluded with eight arrests on charges ranging from drug trafficking and/or distribution to drug possession to aggravated assault and probation violation. The men and women who were arrested range in age from 38 to 54 and are from Cleveland, Mt. Airy and Dahlonega.
