A $14,000 postal theft has been reported to Gainesville Police.
The 74-year-old victim says it occurred between 2:00-3:00 p.m. Thursday. A police spokesman says there were two packages involved but he did not say what they contained.
The address listed on the police report is 968 Dawsonville Highway which is the address for the city’s Westside Post Office branch.
