Hop’s Restaurant in Gainesville is closing, after nearly 10 years in business.
“Last day of service will be Dec 19,” according to a Facebook posting. “It’s been an honor, and a privilege to serve our community. Thank you to all our loyal customers who have supported us through the years.”
In Helen, Mully’s Nacoochee Grill, which opened in 2013, is closing. A Facebook post says the final day of business will be Dec. 27.
And Whataburger is closing a number of its restaurants including the ones in Dahlonega and Athens, effective Dec. 15. Employees are being given the chance to transfer to other Whataburger locations.
