Rainy days ahead

North Georgia is in for several days of rain, according to the National Weather Service (NWS).

“Several waves of rainfall are expected across north and central Georgia through the weekend,” the advisory says. “Rainfall will likely total 1 to 3 inches, with the greatest totals likely across central Georgia.”
And “rain and cloud cover will keep temperatures (morning lows and afternoon highs) cool,” in the 32-51 range for Gainesville and vicinity.
