A GoFundMe account has been established for the 9-year-old Flowery Branch girl who witnessed her mother’s murder over the weekend.
According to the account, as of 8:00 Wednesday morning $24,000 of the $40,000 goal had been raised through 71 donations.
“The family has agreed that the best way to help the daughter and honor her mother is to start a college fund for her future,” wrote Brandi Roberts, who established the account, on the GoFundMe page. “The daughter is incredibly smart, and her mother always wanted her to grow up to be a famous scientist.”
