Lake Lanier had recorded four BUIs this holiday weekend as of mid-morning Sunday. The count began at midnight Friday and will continue through midnight Monday.
Elsewhere in the state, one each had been reported in northwest, middle and south Georgia.
Georgia Department of Natural Resources (DNR) spokesman Mark McKinnon added that no boating “incidents” had been reported anywhere in the state.
