Georgia is now 95 percent drought-free and our corner of the state is at 100%.
The only parts of the state where the drought still lingers are a few counties in northwest and southwest Georgia and parts of Bulloch and Candler counties near the coast, according to the U.S. Drought Monitor.
A week ago, 95 percent was drought-free.
