Labor Day protests are being organized across the country, including Gainesville, by groups organized for “worker rights and protections.”
The protests are part of a national movement to “prioritize public investment in healthcare and education over billionaire profits,” according to May Day Strong, the group behind the movement. MAY DAY STRONG
The Gainesville protest is planned for noon Monday at Poultry Park.
At least one other is scheduled in the immediate area – in Suwanee.
