INK (Interactive Neighborhood for Kids), which had been housed on Chestnut Street in Gainesville since its inception, is now open at its new Oakwood location. What’s being billed as “soft opening” occurred at 10:00 this morning.
INK NEWS RELEASE:
“Located at 3906 Main Street, Oakwood…INK continues the tradition of creating a unique hands-on learning environment for kids of all ages. This exclusive preview event…will continue over several weeks as we offer the local community to be among the first to experience INK’s new venue.
…During our soft opening phase, visitors will be able to experience wonderful exhibits that have been curated by many local and national investors that value hands-on education. We invite you to come and experience INK’s neighborhood with your family. Or call to book your field trip or birthday party today. While you are here, be sure and create even more special memories by visiting INK’s gift shop and Paint-Your-Own Pottery Studio.
‘We are so excited to finally be able to share what INK has been dreaming about for so many years.” says Sheri Hooper the Founder of INK. ‘The soft opening is a crucial step in making sure we are creating the best learning experience for our visitors. This is just the beginning of what we envision in the new space.”
We invite you to be a voice by visiting during this time and we encourage you to provide feedback on your experience, which will be carefully considered to make final adjustments to the overall learning experience before the grand opening. According to major resources, soft openings are essential for businesses to test and refine their processes before officially launching to the public.
