1:30 P.M. TUESDAY UPDATE:
The sheriff’s office says Lombardi was found about two miles from where the search for him began. The sheriff’s office says he was arrested after someone reported seeing a suspicious person in their neighborhood. The search had been concentrated around the Brandon Hall subdivision. Because of the manhunt some school buses were running late Monday afternoon. Details surrounding the incident that touched off the search for Lombardi had not been released at last check.
10:00 P.M. UPDATE: Lombardi was arrested about 9:00 p.m.
6:00 P.M. UPDATE. FORSYTH CO. SHERIFF’S OFFICE FACEBOOK POST:
“Deputies are continuing to look for Brendan Lombardi, but they are widening their search area. You will continue to see law-enforcement presence throughout the evening across south/southeast Forsyth County. Once again, we urge you to call 911 if you see a white male with short dark hair, matching the description, believed to be wearing a red Georgia Bulldogs shirt and black shorts.
UPDATE 5:00pm: The search has expanded to include Old Atlanta Road, and the area between 141 and Windermere Rd, south to Sharon Rd. Please avoid the area if possible.
Deputies are actively looking for Brendan Lombardi, a white male in his 20’s near Brandon Hall subdivision, between Windemere & Old Atlanta Rd. He is wearing a red shirt, black shorts, & on foot. He was involved in a domestic incident that involves injuries. Do not approach. Call 911 if you see him.”
