Banks Co. EMS hiring, implementing new work schedule

Banks County Fire/EMS is switching to a new work schedule called the 1-3-2-3 schedule starting September 29.

This schedule consists of working one 24-hour day, off for 72 hours, working 48 hours, and then off for 72 hours. “This rotational schedule improves the opportunities for rest and recovery — both mentally and physically,” the posting says.

And the agency is currently hiring.
