Hall County recorded an unemployment rate of 3% in July, down one-tenth over the month. A year ago, the rate was 3.2%.
The labor force in the county decreased by 477 over the month and by 1,269 over the year, to 108,702.
In addition, the county finished the month with 105,421 employed residents. That number decreased by 409 from the previous month and by 986 from the same time a year ago.
Hall County ended July with 107,900 jobs. That number was down 900 from the previous month and rose by 500 from the same time last year.
